About these terms

These terms apply to every order placed on doorsignsuk.com with Doorsigns UK ("we", "us"). By placing an order you accept them. They do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Your order

Your order is accepted when we email you an order confirmation. We may decline or cancel an order if a product is unavailable, the details you gave are incomplete, or a price or description was shown in error. If you have already paid, we refund you in full.

Personalised products

House signs and bin numbers are made to order with the house number, name and street name you enter, exactly as typed, including capitals, spelling and spacing. Please check them before you pay. Once an order has gone into production it cannot be changed, and personalised items cannot be returned because you have changed your mind (see our Refund policy).

Prices and payment

Prices are in pounds sterling and delivery to UK addresses is free. Payment is taken in full when you place your order, using the payment methods offered at checkout. If a price is obviously wrong, we will contact you before making your order.

Delivery

We deliver to the United Kingdom only. Delivery times and the order cut-off (1pm, Monday to Friday) are set out in our Shipping policy. The goods are your responsibility from the moment they are delivered.

Products

Every sign is made individually, so small variations in colour, finish and engraving are normal, and the finished sign may differ slightly from photographs viewed on a screen. Solar-powered signs need daylight to charge and switch on automatically at dusk; how brightly and for how long they light depends on where they are fitted.

Returns and problems

Our Refund policy explains what to do if an item arrives damaged, faulty or not as ordered, and how returns work for items that are not personalised. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Our responsibility to you

We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, or for damage caused by fitting a sign other than as instructed. Nothing in these terms excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for anything else the law does not allow us to exclude.

The text, photographs and design of this website belong to us or to our suppliers and may not be copied or reused without permission.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Disputes may be brought in the courts of England and Wales, or in the courts of Scotland or Northern Ireland if you live there.
